rBGH profits sour at Monsanto

Monsanto recently predicted that profits from its genetically modified bovine growth hormone will drop by 16 percent in 2007. "Pressure in the dairy business" -- that is, farmers who are responding to the pubic's concerns about the safety of rBGH (aka Posilac) -- were cited for the downturn.
