Peace at 66° S, 65° W: An 8-person team of amateur Palestinian and Israeli mountain climbers have successfully scaled a previously unclimbed peak in Antarctica. The coalition, called Breaking the Ice, issued this statement at the top: "We have proven that Palestinians and Israelis can cooperate with one another with mutual respect and trust.
