National Conference on Media Reform, Nov. 7–9, Madison
Free Press is sponsoring a
three-day forum "to democratize the debate over media policymaking." Featuring lectures, workshops, and concerts, the conference will cover topics from FCC ownership rules and regulating children's media to copyright and indymedia. Guests include Billy Bragg, Don Henley, DJ Spooky, FCC commissioners Copps and Adlestein, Juan Gonzalez, and others. I'll be there.
