Which one's the
Rothko, and which one's carrot juice? Juicing veggies from my backyard garden, I was struck by the similarity. The
tomato juice had a vague Barnett Newman feel, but couldn't pull off nature's forgery as well, thanks to the cutesy canning jar I used.
this is good, paul. I might have to copycat your copycat idea. i was just thinkin to myself in the garden tonight...what should i do with these leftover cabbage leaves. and we've got rotten wild black cherries up the wazoo. bravo!!!
ReplyDeletelove it.
ReplyDeleteYours is way better than Rothko's. I feel much more spiritually moved by tomato juice.
ReplyDelete"The fact that people break down and cry when confronted with my pictures shows that I can communicate those basic human emotions.. the people who weep before my pictures are having the same religious experience I had when painting them. And if you say you are moved only by their color relationships then you miss the point."
Blurgh.
