Biodiesel would be swell were it not for all that fryer grease. So leave it to the French to come up with a better (or at least better-tasting) solution: a car powered by wine. Well, sort of. Thanks to the global wine glut and the low prices it's causing for farmers, French producers have asked the EU to OK an increase in the amount of wine distilled for fuel.
