Yucca Mountain's junk science: "I've made up the dates and names. ... If they need more proof I will be happy to make up more stuff." That's what one scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey said in a recently released email about research on the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste project. The emails, part of a 90-page document cataloguing the "fudged" data on the controversial nuclear-waste repository, make it "obvious to everyone now that Yucca Mountain isn't going anywhere," said Democratic Sen.
