The HBO star was posing as Boraq Sagdiyev, a Bush-supporting immigrant from Kazakhstan who wanted to show his patriotism by singing the "Star Spangled Banner" for the rodeo's audience. "I hope you kill every man, woman and child in Iraq, down to the lizards... And may George W. Bush drink the blood of every man, woman and child in Iraq," he said, before launching into a broken-English rendition of the anthem (which concluded with the lyrics "your home in the grave").
