Bleeding

Here's an artful and arresting anti-war commercial from Canada's Le Comité de Solidarité Trois-Rivieres calling for the nation's troops to be pulled out of Afghanistan. But I wonder if it's effective. I mean, we know war means blood and death, but do we know if this war is worth fighting? How is it "bleeding the world"? And are there better arguments peace activists can make?
