"The power of subliminal persuasion"

British "psychological illusionist" Derren Brown shows a pair of ad creatives how susceptible even they are to the omnipresent messaging of advertising. Watch all the way to the end...

Have you actually verified the veracity of this video? It seems a bit scripted towards the end... Thanks for the link, it was an interesting watch even though it triggers my inner-skeptic!

He's pretty impressive, and has a great show on Channel 4 with plenty of subliminal messages, hypnosis and general head-fuckery. One of my favourites is the zombie video game where he places a guy 'into' the video game he's playing. Check it out on YouTube.

Oh c'mon Paul. This is clearly a slight of hand trick where Brown watches the ad folk as they create the logo and later switches his own copied sketches in place of the note that he left of the desk.

I'm skeptical too -- haven't verified it (maybe I want to believe) -- but thought it curious enough to post, nonetheless.

Slava, that's ridiculous. Just watch it again. He worked it out very carefully... the stuffed animal idea is so out of the ordinary plus they only had time to use what ideas they first came up with. It wouldn't have worked with something more usual.
