Instead of yard signs, Independence Party gubernatorial candidate Peter Hutchinson is giving away lawn leaf bags. At first glance, though, the orange plastic bags with black lettering look like garbage bags--perhaps an allusion to the junk flung with such frequency by politicians in this final phase of an increasingly ugly campaign season? This interpretation seems more apt in light of a new web-only commercial by Hutchinson and the Independence Party's Team Minnesota:
