If Ian Fleming wrote obituaries: Edward von Kloberg III, a Washington lobbyist who reveled in representing some of the world's most hated tyrants, was a flamboyant fella, in life and in death. The man who worked for a rogue's gallery that included Saddam Hussein, Nicolae Ceausescu, and Mobutu Sese Seko; who wore capes to formal functions and traveled with steamer trunks; and who added "van" to his name (later changed to "von") to sound more distinguished, leapt to his death from "a castle in Rome" on Sunday, a lengthy suicide not attached to his body.
