UCC Petition: Tell CBS and NBC to air the "God is still speaking" ad by visting the United Church of Christ's Action Center (while you're there, check out the other great social-justice issues they're taking on.)
Paul... the ad seems relatively harmless and I'm stunned by the (unknown) reasoning behind their decision to refuse the ad--what does decision tell us about the policies/agenda of CBS/NBC... I mean come on, the Hallmark station and Nick-at-Nite are carrying it...
it's kind of annoying where the one bouncer says, "i don't think so" when barring one churchgoer, but, aside from that, it's a pretty good ad. i esp. like the use of the comma (gracie allen is quoted on the website, "never put a period where got puts a comma." open-ended christianity? my god!).
looks like fair.org is getting in on the action: http://www.fair.org/activism/church-ad.html
